Terms and Conditions for Dog Trainer Services

Agreement Between Dog Trainer and Client

 

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between the dog trainer ("Trainer") and the client ("Client") for professional dog training services. By engaging the Trainer, the Client agrees to the outlined terms.

 

Services Provided

• Behavioral training

• Obedience training

• Puppy training

• Customized training plans tailored to the needs of the dog

The Trainer will use positive reinforcement methods and other humane techniques to address the dog's behavior and learning needs.

 

Pricing and Payment

• Costs for sessions will be clearly stated prior to the commencement of services.

• Payment must be made in full before or at the start of the first session unless otherwise agreed.

• Packages, if offered, are non-refundable once training sessions have started.

• Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule, or the session fee may be forfeited.

 

Client Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and honest information about the dog’s behavior, history, and health.

• Ensure the dog is healthy and free of contagious diseases before attending training sessions.

• Follow the Trainer’s advice and instructions consistently to reinforce the dog’s learning.

• Ensure the dog is equipped with appropriate gear, such as a collar, leash, and any required training aids.

 

Trainer Responsibilities

• Provide professional and effective training methods suited to the dog’s needs.

• Offer guidance and support to the Client for continued training outside of sessions.

• Ensure all training is conducted in a safe and humane manner.

 

Liability

• The Trainer is not liable for injuries or accidents during training sessions unless they result from negligence.

• The Client assumes responsibility for their dog’s behavior and actions during and outside of training sessions.

 

Termination of Services

The Trainer reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the Client fails to comply with the terms and conditions or if the dog poses a safety risk to others or itself.

 

Confidentiality

Any personal information provided by the Client will be used solely for the purpose of delivering training services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.

 

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a disagreement, both parties agree to attempt resolution through communication before pursuing legal or formal action.

 

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging the Trainer’s services, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
